Getting ready to teach Wood Stove 101 tomorrow for the Coquille Valley Traditional Skills Center.
I got all of the kindling split, the fat-wood shaved, and some cedar bark fluff stripped for my birds nest. I am going to do this as old school as I can but I think I will cheat and use the mixer to mix up the dough and batter. We are going to do breakfast while the stove warms up and then bake some small loaves of bread. I figured sourdough overnight waffles with bacon would be great for breakfast and some manner of rolls for the baking portion of the class.
Should be fun!
